Russia rules out Putin's arrival at the gas summit in Bolivia

Last September, Bolivian President Evo Morales had considered Putin's participation in the forum on gas, after the country's chancellor, Fernando Huanacuni, made the formal invitation during a trip to Moscow.

The Government of Bolivia also confirmed the presence of the presidents of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro; Mauricio Macri, and from Peru, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, assuming the visit of the second.

The FPEG forum will take place in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz from November 21 to 24 and It will be attended by the delegations of member countries, observers and guests.

The appointment of the presidents is scheduled for Friday 24, after the meetings of experts, business leaders and ministers planned for the previous days.

Russia, Iran, Qatar, Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, and Arab Emirates (countries with full rights), Holland, Iraq, Oman, Peru, Norway, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan (observers) are the nations of the forum.

Governments will analyze prices of gas, supply and demand, new technologies, gas as clean energy and transition from fossil fuels to the future.
