Firma Ienova closes purchase of Pipelines and Energy in 547 million dollars

The energy infrastructure firm Nova (Ienova) announced today the closing of the acquisition of 50% of Ductos y Energéticos del Norte for 547 million dollars after the approval of the Federal Competition Commission of Mexico.

Mexico, Nov 16 (EFE) .- The firm of Energy Infrastructure Nova (Ienova) today announced the closing of the acquisition of 50% of Ductos e Energéticos del Norte for 547 million dollars after the approval of the Federal Competition Commission of Mexico.

With the end of the transaction, the shareholding of Ienova in Ducts and Energy will be increased from 50% to 100%. del Norte, which is Pemex Industrial Transformation, clarified the company in a statement.

Likewise, the indirect participation of Ienova in the pipeline will be raised from 25% to 50%. Los Ramones II Norte, which extends from Los Ramones station in the state of Nuevo León to Villa Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí.

The 547 million dollars of the purchase is integrated with 258 million dollars of liquidation of "certain shareholders' credits" and the proportional amount of debt financing of the Los Ramones II Norte gas pipeline, for 289 million dollars.

Ienova, Semper Energy company, develops, builds and operates energy infrastructure in Mexico, with 900 employees and more than 7,000 million dollars invested.
